enrollment process
1. Complete application ( Word, PDF) and submit the following:
a. Copy of the most current report card and standardized test scores (not applicable for preschoolers)
b. Copy of any psychological evaluation administered to your child
c. Recommendation form forwarded to a former teacher (This form is sent to you once the initial application is received.)
d. Current South Carolina Certificate of Immunization
e. Copy of birth certificate
f. Non-refundable application fee of $65. This fee includes the testing and application process.
2. Parent Interview
Covenant Classical Christian School serves Christian parents dedicated to training their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord and committed to our educational vision. Because we exist to minister to the Christian community at least one parent must be a Christian. Parents should not only be familiar with the Family Handbook, which explains our philosophy, academic standards, student expectations, and disciplinary procedures, but also should support it. The purpose of the interview is to determine if Covenant Classical Christian School's educational and spiritual vision for students matches the vision of the parents.
a. What is your primary reason for wanting your child at CCCS?
b. Describe what you believe constitutes a “Christian” school.
c. What is your understanding of a classical education and what appeal does classical education carry for you?
d. Describe your opinion and practice of godly training in your home. What do you expect of your child’s school regarding the methods of godly training?
e. As a parent, how would you contribute to your child’s success at CCCS?
f. What is your reaction to the Family Handbook?
3. Testing
Covenant Classical Christian School gives a placement test to new students entering grades K-5 through 8th grade. This test determines if the child has the skills necessary for the grade for which he is applying.
4. Acceptance
When the application is accepted Covenant Classical Christian School will notify parents by letter.
5. Enrollment, pending $100 Registration Fee
