Linda Moore
Third Grade
After receiving a B.S. in Elementary Education from Taylor University, I taught for five years in the Atlanta area. In 1982, I married Steve and he “retired” me from working to raising a family. I later home schooled our two sons for 15 years. Before coming to Covenant in 2007, I enjoyed teaching elementary and middle school math at Dillon Christian School in Dillon, SC for four years.
I first heard of Covenant Classical Christian School while attending Teen Pact with my boys in the late 1990s as a group of eighth graders from Covenant was participating too. I am excited about teaching at Covenant this coming year not only because a Christian environment is essential, but also because the classical approach to education is excellent. This is really the best of two worlds as far as I’m concerned.
One of my favorite hymns is “Jesus Led Me All the Way,” and coming to CCCS is another example of His sovereignty because He led me here. I never fail to be amazed at God’s advance preparation in my life. He always proves Himself faithful to His people.
My hobbies include decorating and cooking. My husband and I love to entertain in our home, and I look forward to sharing our home with new friends in the coming years.
One of my sons is preparing for full time ministry at Southeastern Seminary, and the other is in medical school earning an M.D., which he plans to use on the mission field.
