Leia Boudet

Although I just graduated from Wofford College in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts, I have always felt called to work in education. When in college, I majored in English and History, graduating with awards in both fields. During the summer of 2008, I received a research grant that I used to research, evaluate, and write an article about the Compulsory Turkish-Greek Population Exchange of 1923. Additionally, I was a tutor for both the History Department and Wofford College's Writing Center where I helped college students with their work and hosted seminars about writing and researching techniques. As a teacher, I look forward to encouraging both the spiritual and intellectual growth of my students, challenging them to analytically assess all that they encounter and learn how to articulate themselves and their faith clearly and persuasively.
