Fourth Grade

I came to Covenant seventeen years ago. Since then I have taught 4th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade courses. I have been impressed with Covenant’s community of parents, teachers, and staff. Covenant Christian School is a rare institution where people from different denominations work together to support Christian education for the next generation.

I attended Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, Illinois, where I received my bachelor degree in psychology and education. I then taught in Christian and public schools in Western Pennsylvania for six years. While in Pennsylvania, I studied Christian curriculum design under Dr. Geraldine Steensma, a noted Christian education professor and author. I continue to take courses through local universities to stay current with present educational trends.
