Jan Ward

Sixth Grade

I began my path towards teaching by studying and earning a B.S. in education at Greenville College in Illinois. After college, I pursued my interest in the Bible by getting an ASP Degree at Moody Bible Institute. Overall, I have twenty years of teaching experience. I began teaching in Illinois, spent two interesting years teaching in the Dominican Republic, eight joyful years homeschooling, and now I am in my ninth year at Covenant Classical Christian School. I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a phenomenal staff.

I am married and have three children. My two sons and daughter are graduates of CCCS and currently in college. Covenant has awarded my children with many experiences that a larger school could not provide. Besides teaching tomorrow's leaders and watching them grow spiritually, I enjoy participating in outdoor activities with my family and friends.
