French

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Hope College in Holland, Michigan with a double major in French and Political Science and a minor in History. I spent my junior year of college in Nantes, France, where my fluency in French developed.

I have been the French teacher here since 2002 and I absolutely love it. Covenant Classical Christian School is one part of the body of Christ in this world and it is a home to me. It is a place where needs are met and people are served. Often I look around at the students, faculty, and staff here at Covenant, I ask “Who are we that you, Lord God, should allow our lot to fall in such a pleasant place?”

Our family has been a participant in this ministry for over sixteen years. Our eldest daughter completed all of her K5-12 school years at Covenant. She is now at Presbyterian College and doing very well in her studies. We have two younger daughters presently here.
